Complete family
« on: December 19, 2012, 05:34:47 AM »
So I now have a complete family of Nexus devices.

Just received my Nexus 4, which now sits along side my Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.

Cool CBers!  You're all set now.  Who's your carrier on the N4?

3, but as phone is not locked to network, it could be anyone.

Had it 2 days now and only just realised there was a protective cover on the back of the phone ???

Mine came off last night, I bought front and rear screen protectors but they are real thin and can't stick them without air bubbles.
I have a neoprene pouch for mine atm but hopefully my Cruzerlite TPU case will arrive from the US soon...

Personally I'm not a lover of the shape, style and design. Only going from the pics I've seen as I've not seen one first hand.
I've read that it's real easy to max out the CPU?

Overall it looks like a really nice device but I don't need one, my N7 is perfectly adequate, it's a great size for gaming and watching movies and the form factor is perfect for portability. If I'm sitting at home and I can't be bothered to put my laptop on, I'll pick my N7 but if needed a larger display then I'd choose the laptop.

The problem I have is what you stated and that's the processor. It seems under powered. Any input?

Sorry, the way you posted made me think you had one...

Like I said, it looks nice but what with the processor issues and my lack of needing a larger tab I've not looked any further into the N10. I only knew about the processor maxing out issue because I think I read something on G+...

Maybe the N10 has succumbed to the it's price point rules, Google and Samsung had to cut costs somewhere. The Nexus 7 was it's screen, the N4 is it's camera so maybe the N10's is it's processor which is obviously the worst of all things to scrimp on...

Yeah I was going to get a nexus 10 but I heard Google was disappointed with its performance when it had a lot of pressure on the system. I have a nexus 7 though good enough for now.
