Re-naming Nexus 4
« on: November 18, 2013, 06:34:03 AM »
Has any-one come across how to re-name the Nexus 4 when you're plugged into PC?  I have been able to re-name mine for bluetooth purposes but can't find any references to changing the name when connected to PC

I haven't tried but for USB thumb drives you change it from the PC. Right click the Nexus 4 name and if it allows it to be renamed then the option should be there...

JayJ, that worked, so simple.  I thought that I would need to change settings in the handset for it to give out it's name.  Thanks.
