Jottacloud for Android, up to 20GB of cloud storage...
« on: November 21, 2012, 04:01:17 PM »

Guys, I've found a fantastic new cloud storage service. Okay it's not new new but the Android application is new and getting extra storage is a doddle.
First sign up, use the link below or PM me with your email address which will entitle us both to an extra 5GB of storage. Upon sign up, you will receive 10GB of free storage so if you use an invitation from me that's 15GB. Once your signed up online go to the second link below to install the Android application which gets you another 10GB's of free storage which is in total, 25GB of free storage. You can get even more by inviting friends to join Jottacloud, up to 100GB.

What is also great about Jottacloud is that you can sync Contacts, SMS, MMS, Photos, Songs and Videos saved on your device and set whether you want to sync to the cloud over Wi-Fi or Mobile data (Mobile data device needed). I think it's a great offer and a great service, highly recommended.

What are you waiting for, sign up today...

Note: 10GB App installation Promotion has ended, I do believe Jottacloud is currently offering an extra 2GB for installing the Android application.[/b]

Yes the information above is absolutely correct. JottaCloud is yet another start up company in the business of cloud storage and they have come up with free storage space to market their services. Amazing, isn't it? I have signed up for an account it is currently working good for me. However, we can explore more free cloud storage options. Check some more android cloud storage options like SugarSync and Dropbox with free storage space :)

Yeah, I've got it on my 4 and 7 Jay, but to tell the truth I hven't really used it any yet.  Seems to be set up for the business user more so than the individual like DropBox.  And it's kind of a process to sync it with my pc (unlike DB), they want you to buy the upgraded version.  But I'll play 'round with it and see how it woiks...

I have Box but found the upload limit to be awkward so I pay monthly for 100GB on Dropbox, I just find DB much easier to manage and it has less limitations.
Jottacload is good though, it has some interesting features like the contact, SMS, MMS sync feature. It does need a little more work but I can't complain with 75GB of free storage...

I currently have...

Dropbox 107.75GB
Box 5GB
Google Drive 5GB
Skydrive 7GB
Jottacloud 75GB
Asus Web Storage 5GB
Amazon Cloud ??

I mainly use DB, Drive and Jottacloud though...

W0W, a lot of storage there!  Yes, DB is kind of transparent to use, I like how easy it syncs.  I AM just now, starting to feel the squeeze of my 8GB N7, so these cloud apps could be a big help!

Yeah, 200GB+ cloud storage is quite allot but it's all free apart from the 100GB I pay for with DB, it's only 10 bucks a month which is about 6 GBP so not too bad. Google Drive I think is cheaper but until Google deliver more features to Drive like DB I will be sticking with DB.
I store my music on Play Music and my Photos are on the cloud too ready for my N4.....one day....

By the time I get my N4 it'll be outdated...lol

I have quite a few cloud storage solutions as well, totalling over 150Gb.

Anyone know if there is a Cloud Explorer app?

I use Solid Explorer, I think I've posted about it before. It's a file explorer but supports cloud storage including Dropbox, Drive, Box and Skydrive.
It's Holo themed too... ;)

You have JayJ.

Is use es file explorer which has similar plugin, but I'd like an app that would show all files and show where they are located, similar to a search in window does.
