Hi, I'm Steve
« on: December 29, 2012, 10:47:50 AM »
I have had my Nexus 4 for 31 days now and I love it.  This is actually my second Nexus phone.

My first Android phone was the Motorola Atrix 4G. It was the first dual core phone at the time and Motorola's flagship phone. But that did not last long.  I loved my Atrix (and still do -- no other phone offers a fingerprint scanner for unlocking) but I got tired of waiting for ICS when JB was became available. Then Motorola announced that they would not be updating the Atrix to ICS. Well, I got myself the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and was stunned by how beautiful native Android was without the influence of Motorola's MotoBLUR. Now I am enjoying my Nexus 4. I will only own Nexus products in the future. No more vendor or carrier restrictions and limitations for me.

Welcome to the forums Steve, I think we share very similar views on Android and the beauty of AOSP Android. I've had Sony Ericson and Samsung Android phones previously, both of which were rooted and running custom AOSP ROM's but after owning the Nexus 7 I knew my next phone had to be a Nexus too.
